With the recent advances in artificial intelligence, research in the field previously carried out in the Computer Vision Laboratory – VISIO and in the Laboratory of Digital Video Applications – LAViD has grown. As a result it was necessary to create a place dedicated to training, product development and research in artificial intelligence.
ARIA (ARtificial Intelligence Applications laboratory) was created in 2019, with lecturers, researchers and students from various fields, with the common interest of developing research and products using artificial intelligence. Our team currently includes PhD, Master's and undergraduate students from different programs and departments of UFPB.
We collaborate with researchers from other Brazilian and international institutions, in addition to companies and public agencies to develop R&D projects, creating solutions that use artificial intelligence to solve current world demands.
